Dr. Blalock

A Lifetime of Dental Dedication in Augusta

Dr. John S. Blalock, DMD, EDS, hails from Augusta, GA, born at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He completed high school at Richmond Academy and graduated from Lees-McRae College in North Carolina. Dr. Blalock earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1997.

Following private practice, Dr. Blalock became a full professor at the Dental College of Georgia, dedicating 17 years to dental education. During this time, he earned his Educational Leadership Specialist Degree (EdS.) from Augusta State University. Dr. Blalock's commitment to education extended to research, publications, and service on dental committees.

In 2017, Dr. Blalock returned to private practice with a renewed emphasis on comprehensive dental care, prioritizing individualized care for longevity and aesthetics. Outside of his work, he enjoys quality time with his two boys and going outdoors.

Dr. Blalock is a caring and compassionate professional dedicated to the well-being of his patients.

    Jari has been in dentistry since 1994, mainly in Orthodontics. Married since 1993, she adores her son and daughter. Jari has five furry companions, including a cat and a turtle, and she's active in St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

    With dentistry experience since 2014, Cathy ensures patient well-being. She's married with three children and enjoys Disney trips and supporting her kids in their sports activities.

    Starting as an orthodontic assistant and now a dental hygienist since 2000, April aims for patient comfort and satisfaction. She's married to Jim, has two daughters, a granddaughter on the way, and a German Shepherd and a cat.

  • Alannah Rudduck, Registered Dental Hygienist

    Alannah is originally from Astoria, Oregon, where the Goonies were filmed! She has been in Georgia since June 2017 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Augusta University in 2020. Alannah is a huge adrenaline junkie and considers herself a big kid. You will find her around a ball pit, face painting, or blow-up castles. She is always having an adventure over the weekends, hitting different states or national parks, kayaking, white water rafting, scuba diving, biking, camping, backpacking, bonfires, hiking, yoga, etc. She’s also always open to recommendations on new food spots. During the workweek, you can find her playing cards, board games night, house projects, woodworking, and refurbishing furniture. Always keeping those around her on their toes!
